Our Delicious Story
In September 23, 2010, Cozumel Bar & Grill was born in Loxley, Alabama, founded by the visionary Noel Hurtado. Dedicated to offering an authentic Mexican culinary experience, the restaurant quickly became a favorite, celebrated for its rich flavors and warm atmosphere.
From flavorful tacos to exquisite traditional dishes, the menu pays homage to Mexico’s culinary heritage. Over the years, the Cozumel family has grown, extending its culinary influence and legacy of excellence, turning each visit into a journey through authenticity, passion, and the dream Noel envisioned when he opened this beloved Mexican gem in Alabama.

Fresh From the Grill
Seafood fajita
Grilled shrimp, scallops, and tilapia fillet cooked with tomatoes, bell peppers and onions. Served with rice, beans, guacamole, pico de gallo, lettuce and sour cream.
MOLCAJETE FOR TWO
Steak, Chicken, Shrimp, Chorizo cooked with onions,
& bell peppers. Topped with Tomatoes, guacamole, sour
cream, pico de gallo and lettuce, jalapeño, cilantro & lime. Served with charro beans and white rice.
RIB- EYE Y CAMARON A LA PLANCHA
Rib-Eye & Shrimp with grilled mixed veggies on a bed of grilled onions.
Seafood Soup
Fish, Shrimp, Mussels, Crab Legs and vegetables cooked in a chile de arbol broth.
CARNE ASADA
Thin Steak cooked with onions,& bell peppers.
Topped with Tomatoes, jalapeño, & lime. Served with
rice, beans, guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo and lettuce.
Seafood Molcajete (for 2)
Whole head on shrimp, scallops, mussels, whole fried tilapia in a special sauce. Garnished with pineapple, lime/lemon, and cucumber. Served with white rice, charro beans, tortillas, and guacamole salad.
Pollo Blanco
Grilled Chicken breast on a bed of grilled onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, and mushrooms topped with poblano sauce. Served with a side of white rice.
Carnitas
Shredded pork pieces marinated in a special sauce cooked with grilled onions. Served with pico de gallo, rice, beans, and tortillas.
Alambres Cozumel
Grilled chicken, steak, bacon, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions and tomatoes. Topped with mozzarella cheese. Served with rice, beans, lettuce, pico de gallo, guacamole, sour cream and tortillas.
